Refunds take 1-2 business days to process. Your refund should appear on your bank or credit card statement within 5-10 days depending on your bank.

Our moisturizer fits perfectly into your daily skincare routine. Use it morning and night! AM: use after cleansing but before applying SPF. PM: Use after cleansing. This should be the final step in your routine

You really only need a pea-sized amount of product in the AM and PM for best results. But everyone is a bit different, if you feel like you need to use a bit more or a bit less, all good!

Long answer: We are obsessed with non-irritating ingredients that work and specifically included them in the formula to avoid irritation. Our product went through 2 months of HRIPT testing (Human Repeat Insult Patch Test) with a 3rd party laboratory in California. The Daily Moisturizer was applied to participants once a week for 2 months to ensure reactions did not occur. We passed the testing and were given the "non-irritating" stamp of approval!

Congratulations!! The Daily Moisturizer was specifically formulated with gentle, non-irritating ingredients and we don't include any retinol or toxic chemicals that are avoided during this special time in your life! For 100% peace of mind, you should check with your OB/GYN.

Yep! Namesake is Black-owned, our founder and her dermatologist mom are Black women focused on creating products for melanin-rich skin.

Melanin is a dark brown or black pigment that is a natural part of everyone’s skin, hair, and eyes. Melanin-rich skin, also known as ‘skin of color’ contains an abundance of melanin and has unique properties that require extra TLC.

Because it is prone to dark marks from irritation/inflammation, it's important to use gentle ingredients in your routine to keep your skin happy and clear

Fun fact: our jar is made from 100% post-consumer-recycled plastic. That was important to us when starting Namesake. Our box is made of paper and 100% recyclable. We aim to keep our carbon footprint low-- all of our formulation and fulfillment happens in California which is our homebase.
